For more than 20 years I am working in the food industry. I have always had great new product ideas, and dreamed of starting my own company. In 2014, I have founded TOPINGREDIENTS. It is our goal to realise your innovative ideas. We help you to achieve your wishes in relation to innovative ingredients. Thinking in solutions, sourcing unique ingredients, meeting your requirements, acting quick and pursue until it is realised, clearly describe who we are and where we can support you with. 

Searching for ingredients

Ingredients are sometimes, for whatever reason, not available. Or they have simply not yet been discovered or developed. The search for products, and especially not yet discovered ingredients, give me a lot of joy. We enjoy seeing the smile of the customer when we show the desired ingredient. With our team, we focus on innovation, new ingredients, new products in the food industry. 

Unique assortiment

Initially we started with frozen exotic fruit. TOPINGREDIENTS has been the first company that made frozen goji berries and sea buckthorn berries available to the Dutch consumer by introducing a new productrange at the premium retailer Marqt. We had enjoyed the search for these uncommon berries so much, that we decided to go look for ambiant ingredients as well. 

Our main customers are manufacturers of food, which need support with sourcing new ingredients. Some of them are regarded as national or European marketleader. But we also do business with smaller sized companies. On the supply side, we work together with a large network of smaller and larger partner companies.

SUPPLY CHAIN AND QUALITY

We have a large network of manufacturers and serviceproviders with whom we cooperate. We choose them carefully by looking at quality, reliability, flexibility and foodsafety. That is why we can do what we promise. We mainly do business with manufacturers from Europe but for the exotic ingredients we work together with manufacturers in origin. If necessary we import ourselves. In this way we know where the product comes from. Origin and traceability are very important to us. When necessary we keep stock, so we can supply our customer with smaller quantities.

The majority of our suppliers are certified according to GFSI standards. We currently possess the IFS broker certificate, of which we are very proud of. Furthermore, we are also in the possession of the SKAL certificate. So you can also order organic ingredients from us.
